exhibition Columbus Museum of Art Sunday, October 12 2:00 pmRon Pizzuti is the Chairman and CEO of The Pizzuti Companies. Named by ARTnews as one of "The World's Top 200 Collectors", he has amassed a collection of international contemporary works from Asia, America and Europe. His current focus is on young, emerging, relevant artists. Pizzuti is also a force behind many of Columbus' civic, cultural,architectural, sport and industrial projects.

The Big Picture lecture series is a collaboration between the Columbus Museum of Art and the Institute for Collaborative Research and Public Humanities at The Ohio State University. The lectures in the series are presented by faculty from Ohio State and other area colleges and universities and by other experts in conjunction with the Museum’s temporary exhibitions and are intended to expand the contexts for understanding the exhibitions. Past funding has been provided by the Fifth Third Foundation and the Ohio Humanities Council, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. The series is in its sixth year.

Admission to the lectures is free and open to the public, and free reception follows each talk.
